David Puig forgoes senior season, joins LIV Golf to turn professional

There’s a general saying in sports – “If you want to go big, start young”. That might b the case here with David Puig choosing to forego his senior season at the Arizona State University to turn ‘pro’ and join LIV Golf.
Just outside Chicago, the LIV event will take off, and with it David Puig’s debut as a professional. The Spain national belonging to Arizona has let the golf arena know through social media about his commitment to turn into a professional.

David Puig set to join LIV Golf

David Puig has been one of the best college golfers over the past two seasons. Just 20 years of age, Puig has already participated in two LIV Golf events although as an amateur. He finished 40th in the first event based outside London and 42nd at the LIV event in New Jersey.
LIV Golf’s more of a team event as you all must already know. Puig is reportedly joining the LIV’s Torque GC team with Joaquin Niemann at the helm. The other members of Torque GC are Scott Vincent and Jed Morgan.
Puig, still an Arizona State University hopes to graduate next year. He considers Tempe his ‘temple’ to live and embraces his journey to become the top dog in the sport.
