“Too toxic” tag hits the LIV Golf as Apple TV turns down its streaming

LIV Golf has been caught in a lot of conjecture recently amongst the media. Even Lee Westwood blamed the media recently for creating a negative rapport of LIV Golf with the public eyes. Apple TV has denied streaming the LIV this season and labeled it “too toxic”.

The LIV has currently not issued a statement mentioning their streaming partners. The current status is that fans are being left in the dark about what’s happening next! We are all ears too. But one thing is for sure, we are excited to watch some great games ahead, given the controversy is cleared as soon as possible.

The LIV and PGA Tour have gone through enough comparisons throughout their roads. Read on as we try to decode the controversy for you and quote what reasons led to the staggering tag on the LIV Golf by Apple. LIV Golf is different from the PGA Tour in a lot of aspects.

The ritualistic game is slightly different if we dive into details. While PGA Tour allows individual games, LIV is more of a team play. The PGA has 72 holes in each tournament compared to the LIV which only settles for 54.

The LIV is different from what generally are the conventions of traditional golf. LIV however has Saudi-based financial backing, essentially from Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman. This is where the controversy has its roots.

In an era of human rights issues and evolving dignified concepts of human beings coming up today, Saudi Arabia has fallen short of the people’s expectations on these stages. There are different sides to the story but we are trying to state the people’s opinions as objectively as possible.

The notable deal between the Apple and LIV Golf brands has therefore blown apart due to these political and human rights disagreements. The opportunity for golfers to earn is massive on the LIV and that’s the reason we know that it is happening for sure.
