Justin Thomas has recently been on a high, after taking an emphatic victory at the PGA Championships after a play off with Will Zalatoris. He has now set his eyes on the Charles Schwab challenge set to start on Thursday.

Thomas won the second Major of his career at the PGA Championship. “It’s just putting it behind me. Obviously I want to enjoy it and I don’t want to just act like it didn’t happen, because it did. But at the same time, I have a week (off) next week … to just enjoy it,” he said to pgatour.com. Thomas wants to wait and enjoy his enormous PGA Victory, but he has no time, as he moved on to the Challenge next, in hopes of winning it.

Thomas said that it felt like a reset going into the Charles Schwab Challenge. “I have a golf tournament this week,” Thomas said, “and I’m just trying to perform and play as well as I possibly can, and hopefully give us something else to celebrate.” Thomas now puts his focus on the next tournament, where he currently sits T65 after round 1.

In 2020 Thomas played a relatively free Challenge without any spectators. He shot 6-under 64 in the first round, with a T10 and ended up finishing in 40th place last year. After his recent victory he certainly hopes he can do better this year.
