6x PGA Tour winner Max Homa set online fans into a frenzy with his hilarious verdict on ongoing Shohei Ohtani’s trade and Jon Rahm’s LIV Golf move rumor. Both these stars have been trending online for quite some time due to situations in their respective professional fields. 

The situation revolving around both has been taken into serious consideration by fans on social media, but a recent post by Homa on both sports stars has made the fans blow a fuse. His sarcastic edict involved Ohtani joining Saudi-backed LIV Golf and Rahm signing with the Los Angeles Dodgers.

While Jon Rahm’s move to LIV has been widely debated since last week, there’s yet to be any official statement. On the other hand, Shohei Ohtani’s free agency has made several MLB teams strive to sign him up but he has yet to make his decision known.

Fans take shot at Max Homa after golfers sarcastic remark on Shohei Ohtani and Jon Rahm

Max Homa’s take on sports icons Shohei Ohtani and Jon Ram relieved some of the fans’ tension amidst the rumor mill going crazy. While some may have liked his comment, other fans took their shot at calling out Homa in a serious yet fun banter.

Even though Rahm’s move to LIV is yet to be confirmed there have been several hints on his possible signing actions, according to reports. The rumors started soon after he withdrew from Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy’s virtual golf series, TGL.

Earlier in 2022 during the Saudi-backed tour’s birth, Homa stated that he was grateful for all that PGA has done for him and would stick with the Tour to hype up his career further. But his TGL withdrawal drew speculations, the latest being his signing with LIV Golf.

On the other hand, since hitting free agency, Shohei Ohtani has been the topic of discussion as many wanted to have the star on their team. As per USA Today, the most possible team for Ohtani is the LA Dodgers. Apart from the Dodgers, the Blue Jays are next in contention.

Ohtani became one of the most coveted players in MLB history after hitting free agency following six seasons with LA Angels. Following baseball columnist Jon Heyman’s live stream on Bleacher Report, Ohtani’s signing may take place during the Christmas month in Nashville.

None of Ohtani’s or Rahm’s signing with respective sports teams has yet been confirmed. Both side’s fans are hoping to get a clearer picture of their favorite stars move quickly. Things will take a turn when both Ohtani and Rahm makes media appearance on the trade and LIV move rumors.
