Greg Norman was not having it with the congressmen making accusations against him for towing the line for Saudi’s invasion in golf through their monumental winning purses for the players on the LIV Golf Circuit. Norman was in Washington trying to build up support for LIV Golf.

Meanwhile, the Presidents Cup is underway at the Quail Hollow Club in North Carolina where the rebel players who switched sides to play in the cash-rich Saudi PIF-backed LIV Golf Circuit are not allowed to participate as this tournament is sanctioned by the PGA Tour.

When asked about the white flag between LIV Golf and the PGA, Jay Monahan quoted – “off the table”. “So coming together and having conversations, to me, that card is off the table and it has been for a long period of time.” Norman is dismayed at the loss of the sport and some big players who definitely would have had their say at the Presidents Cup 2022.

Greg Norman was himself was the captain of the international team back in 1998 that won the President Cup held that year in Melbourne. He wishes Trevor Immelman and the entire international team the best of luck as they take the course against Scheffler’s U.S. team.

The Presidents Cup is definitely at loss with some big names such as Cameron Smith and Dustin Thomas, who are missing and that is exactly what was worrying Greg Norman as he shared his views on the latest controversy in the golfing circuit.
