Tantalizing Paige Spiranac shows sensitive side with support for Brooks Koepka’s public image building efforts
Paige Spiranac and Brooks Koepka
Golfer-turned-influencer Paige Spiranac is known to unabashedly criticize some of the most famous male golfers in the world. Some of her criticism, however, is only meant for a rebuttal to the social media flak she receives from toxic masculinists.
Spiranac often tries to point out through the known transgressions of famed players such as Tiger Woods, Brooks Koepka and Bryson DeChambeau that she is not the only one who should be the focus of attention and judgement in the world of golf. However, recently, the beautiful ex-golfer showed her extremely human and sensitive side when she sympathized with Koepka, someone she is otherwise known to analyze critically time-and-again.
Spiranac, who is herself an avid podcaster, spoke about how Koepka routinely appears on podcast shows in order to try and improve his image. “I think that’s why him (Koepka) and Bryson are actually more similar than they are dissimilar.”
According to Spiranac, Koepka and DeChambeau are two golfers who came under the most amount of fire on social media after switching to the Saudi Arabia-backed LIV golf league because of their extravagant lifestyles. “I think Brooks got it more than some other players,” she said on her podcast recently.
When Paige Spiranac blasted Simone Biles’ social media critics saying we are raising a generation of weak people
US Olympian Simone Biles has accumulated 14 gold medals and a bronze medal at a very young age and has been able to justify all her fans’ expectations consistently with her performances.
However, the Tokyo Olympics and continued stress took a toll on Biles’ mental health, which unfortunately led to her withdrawal from the finals. The 25-year-old had to face criticism and a hard time from her fan base for giving up on her team. During all of this drama, Spiranac spoke out in support of Biles.
The backlash and bullies from an array of fans to pull Biles down from her hard time were kicked away by Spiranac with a tweet in support of Biles, “Simone Biles did not quit on her team. She is competing in the most difficult skills in the world,” adding, “It isn’t like a layup or swinging a golf club, what she’s doing is extremely dangerous and she did what she needed to do to protect herself. She is the GOAT.”
Interestingly, Spiranac had hustled to become a professional gymnast long before she even entered the world of golf. Injuries from the her gymnastic past made Spiranac redirect her career to golf, but all for good it seems!
