Although Paige Spiranac’s tweet defending LIV is now long gone, social media didn’t fail to capitalize on the incident. The No. 1 golf influencer took sides with LIV Golf, thrashing the haters while praising the league for organizing the “fun” Adelaide event.

LIV Golf Adelaide event gained worldwide recognition as more than 90,000 spectators flocked to the course to be a part of the grand event. The event organized every nit and bits of entertainment involving golfers, DJs, “watering hole” thrill, and much more.

It’s no surprise that an event so large would catch the attention of the ‘World’s Sexiest Woman’ according to Maxim. Spiranac took to Twitter slamming the LIV haters for their comments and praising LIV for making golf more entertaining and interesting. Unfortunately, she deleted the video not too long after.

Although Paige Spiranac defended the Saudi-backed league, all attention seemed to have gone to her racy outfit. Her red top occupied most of the online conversations as one tweeted, “Great shirt, forget the golf”.

She tweeted that the event was “electric” but was dumbfounded to see so many haters rule against the “fun” element in golf. She questioned, When did too much fun become a bad thing?”

She went on to state that regardless of its background, “fun is allowed” and it should actually be “encouraged” at sporting events rather than talk against it. Even though the game may be competitive, fans and players alike have the right to indulge in fun relaxation every once in a while.

She further rolled down on haters saying fans go to the course “to be entertained.” After all, “it’s golf, it’s not that serious.” She thrashed LIV haters saying it’s not like the event was harmful in any way, but in fact, it brought fresh air to the mix.

Spiranac said it’s “good for the game of golf” to relax its rules a bit. Whether one likes or hates the Saudi-backed league, it’s definitive that the event looked fun. Criticisms were bound to follow as the league is backed by Saudi funding and has waged a cold war against PGA Tour since its emergence in 2022.

Even the shirt Spiranac wore in the tweet, highlighted the words, “Not only am I funny (I have nice t***ies too!)”. She once also mentioned how exciting it would be to get a chance to play with Tiger Woods or Tom Brady on Instagram. But she backed out stating her partnership with male players has always brought her troubles.

Spiranac noted that whenever she posts updates on her work in the male-dominated sphere, harsh comments are bound to follow. They are all about nasty “rumors and comments, and it’s all disgusting sexual stuff.”
