There is some exciting development for the fans of golf and Formula 1. Popular OTT platform Netflix has announced a collaboration for a live event of golf which will see and thrilling crossover between golf and F1. This event is supposed to be planned after the success of two documentaries regarding the two sports.

The documentaries “Full Swing” and “Formula 1: Drive to Survive” enjoyed great success on the streaming app. Experts would praise the quality of content present in it which also gave a great insight towards the spot. This Netflix Cup tournament will now feature some of the stars from the PGA Tour taking on some of the drivers in a team contest.

In a trailer shared on their Netflix YouTube channel, racers can be seen getting excited to start a car. The car though turns out to be a golf buggy. Later some people were seen rushing towards the car and placing the golf clubs at the back of it. This is a reference to the races where cars stop at the pit to get some changes which could be helpful later in the race.
