His company, Uniamous Media is now joining NBC Sports to create a four-part series called, “Niice Shot with Steph Curry,”. In this series, Curry will try and replicate four famous shots from recent golf history.
The first episode will see him take on the challenge to replicate the iconic shot of Woods at the 2012 Memorial tournament. The golf great would leave the audience in awe with his genius as he cut a four-shot deficit to emerge victorious.
What was the iconic flop shot of Tiger Woods?
Tiger Woods is arguably one of the greatest golfers of all time. His tales of excellence in golf are countless as he has shocked the world on numerous occasions. Woods has sometimes defied the logic and expectations of others and stunned them with his performances. One of his iconic shot came back in 2012 at the Memorial Tournament which even left Jack Nicklaus.
Before there was Woods, there was Nicklaus. The “Golden Bear” is the most successful golfer when it comes to major championships. However, even he was left shocked to see Woods pull it off. After the flop shot the two greats were seen having a chat where Nicklaus applauded him and claimed that was the gustiest shot he had ever seen in his life.
Woods himself claimed that he did not expect the shot to go in and he just pulled it. “It just fell in. I don’t think it was gonna get there at one point,” the golfer said after his shot.
Whether Steph Curry will now be able to replicate this shot and others remains to be seen. His own genius has surprised everyone. Fans are now eagerly waiting for the first episode to air on September 12.
