The 4-Time NBA champion Stephen Curry laid out a challenge in front of the 2021 U.S. Open Championship winner Jon Rahm. The Golden State Warrior point guard claimed that he is more than confident to putt five 23 feet golf shots before Rahm can shoot five 3 pointers. On the other hand, the golfer conveyed the delight he would feel after crushing Curry in the challenge.
Stephen Curry was featured in a video recently released by “Callaway Golf” where he was asked who would win in a challenge between him and Spanish golfer Jon Rahm. The challenge was to see who would need less tries, Rahm had to shoot five 3-Pointers and Steph had to putt five balls from the same distance, i.e., 23 feet.
Stephen Curry said, “Oh, I’m definitely making five putts from 23 feet. I don’t know what the tour percentage is, but, and I haven’t seen Jon shoot a three, but I got to roll with me on that one.” The two-time NBA 3-Point contest winner then went on to laugh and wished the Spanish golfer a happy birthday.

Jon Rahm BOLDLY accepted the challenge shot towards him by Stephen Curry, says “Somebody challenged me?”
Jon Rahm is not an athlete who would back out of any challenges thrown towards him, he was notified of the challenge right after his everyday workout and he decided to waste no time before responding. He posted a video on Instagram saying, “So, I just got out of my workout, I have to see a video of SOMEBODY challenging me.”
He added, “Steph, you name the time and the place, even though I’m a 57 handicap in basketball. I think I can knock a few threes before you make five 23 footers, so, GAME ON!”
Jon Rahm is currently the world number 5 in the rankings and in this season, he has made 16.67% shots from 23 feet, talking about the master Stephen Curry, he has a shooting percentage of 43.1% from behind the 3-point line. Stephen Curry might have underestimated the opponent but he is certainly no baller who feels shy when it comes to his golf skills.
