Tiger Woods back in action at the PNC Championships? Notah Begay III says yes

It looks like we will see Tiger Woods back in action and that too very soon. He might be back in action at PNC Championship, according to Woods’ close friend Nota Begay III. Woods has been largely absent since his appearance on the Old Course, other than visiting the BMW Championship at the end of last season for a conference on the LIV Golf Series.

American golfer Begay said he was “pretty confident” that Woods would be caddying his son Charlie at the PNC Championships in December. He then went on to continue to say: “Woods might surprise everybody” and play in a fall event.

“I think he will,” Begay said Wednesday ahead of his PGA Tour Champions debut at the Constellation Furyk & Friends. “I think he’s — we may see a late-minute introduction of a cart rule, that would be great … it will just be another chance for us to see how far he’s come.”

Hero World Challenge field doesn’t have Tiger Woods name

The field for the Hero World Challenge, which Woods hosts, was released on Tuesday, and the former World No.1’s name was not among them, though three exceptions will be announced later.

The 46-year- old golfer has had major fitness issues over the year and so after he we involved in a horrific car crash in 2021. He suffered broken legs due to that crash which forced him out of action for more than a year.

But Tiger being a real tiger fought hard and made a sensation return to the golf circuit this year playing in the Masters and the Open Championship. Tiger Woods couple of days ago also announced the initial field for the Hero World Challenge 2022. Hero World Challenge will be returning to Albany, Bahamas.

The event which is scheduled to take place between November 28-December 4 will feature the defending champion Viktor Hovland along with other Major winners.
