On Monday, golf great Tiger Woods finally unveiled his new clothing apparel. In a press conference from California, the 15-time major champion announced his partnership with TaylorMade and launched the new ‘Sun Day Red‘ apparel brand.

This move from Woods comes a month after he officially informed about his split with Nike. He had been in partnership with the popular brand for 27 years, but decided to go their separate ways after the expiration of his contract.

Taking to his X account, the 48-year-old golfer shared the message about the launch of his new brand. In the video shared by him, Woods can be seen narrating the story of his career while donning the new gear and preparing for a new challenge.

Woods had previously been in contact with TaylorMade over their golf clubs and balls. Since 2016, he had been using their equipment. As a part of this new deal, he will now represent their new apparel and footwear at upcoming events.

In the press conference, the American international claimed that the color red just become synonymous with him. During several of his championship triumphs including the 2019 Masters, he has been seen wearing this color.

Mom thought being a Capricorn that my power color was red, so I wore red as a junior golfer and I won some tournaments ... We wore red on the final day of every single tournament, and then every single tournament I've played as a professional I've worn red. It's just become synonymous with me.

Woods could rock this new apparel in the upcoming days as he makes his 2024 debut at the Genesis Invitational this week. He had confirmed his status in this tournament as host and will now mark his first PGA Tour start in over 10 months.
