The recent Saudi backed LIV Golf Series is causing quite the stir of controversy in the golf world, with several pro golfers making the switch from the PGA Tour to the LIV Series. Among these players include Phil Mickelson, Bryson DeChambeau, Patrick Reed, Ian Poulter and Kevin Na to name a few.

However, there are others who did not make the switch, remaining loyal to the PGA. These include Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods– despite the latter being offered high 9 digit figures to come join the series. Greg Norman says that Woods turned down a deal that was “Mind-blowing enormous, we’re talking about high nine digits”. Now, Woods has gone on to become an official billionaire, with only around 10% of his worth coming from golf winnings.
