“F****** love this guy,” Golf fans relish in Viktor Hovland’s EPIC Norway moment as Norwegian amuses himself with adorable dog in cart

It seems animals deeply love Viktor Hovland. First, he got a blessing from a bird at British Open, and now the video of him chilling with his dog has gone viral on social media. Following the conclusion of The Open Championship, several golfers have opted to relax on the field while playing fun golf, while others were busy prepping for the 3M Open event. 

PGA Tour player Viktor Hovland chose the former option to chill out at Norwegian island Gimsoya. He was seen enjoying his break time on the greens with his pals and his adorable dog in the cart. The video of Hovland chilling out while his friends were frantically searching for their lost golf ball in the thick tall grass went viral, garnering over 1 million views.

In the video, Hovland was seen pointing at his friends busy searching in bushes while his dog was chilling out in a cart with a bored expression. Some fans even commented that he should have sent the dog to find the ball. Everyone was amused and happy to see Hovland destress after the competitive event.

Viktor Hovland amuses himself at Lofoten golf course following British Open

Although Brian Harman took the crown at British Open, Viktor Hovland enjoyed a record T13 finish. During the event, there was an incident where a bird pooped on the PGA Tour player’s sleeve and flew away. A commentator on the field noted it as a blessing prior to his 15th-hole take.

Now at Lofoten Links golf course, Hovland along with his friends is looking forward to setting a new course record. Last summer too, the golfer visited the greens where he set the record for 8-under 63. Setting aside his Lofoten goals, he was recorded amusing himself as his two friends searched for their golf balls.

Hovland, the 25-year-old is often known for his wild choice of outfits during golf competitions. As of now, he has donned shirts of pink and bright yellow with an orange tint on the golf course. While some fans always look forward to his outfit choice, some have criticized the golfer for his lack of seriousness.

Hovland answered their criticisms by stating that he just wears what his advisers tell him to as he gets paid for it. According to SI, he noted, “I just wear what they tell me to wear. It’s definitely a little bit out there, but I’d rather take these than the pink pants I had last year.”

Fans are excited to see more of Hovland’s funny and extraordinary moments during his career in professional golf. The 25-year-old is currently listed as the 5th best golfer, according to OWGR. Xander Schauffele, Max Homa, and Cameron Smith closely follow him on the list.
