Recently, the top golfers of the PGA, including Tiger Woods had a meeting regarding LIV Golf and the future of the PGA Tour. The LIV Series has seen quite a lot of defectors over the last few months and recently it has been rumoured that Cameron Smith is the next to join the list.

The impact of LIV Golf on the pro golf series is a matter of concern. The PGA Tour and DP Tour are getting tangled in lawsuits and constant controversies. The meeting will include “influential PGA Tour members who haven’t defected to LIV Golf.” Almost all of the top 20 world ranked players will attend this meeting and it has been confirmed that Woods and Rickie Fowler will be there after the touched down recently.

A video on Tuesday captured Tiger Woods and Rickie Fowler exiting a plane in Philadelphia, less than 30 miles from Wilmington Country Club, the host of this week’s 2022 BMW Championship. During a recent press conference recently, Jon Rahm and Patrick Cantlay spoke about the upcoming meet.

“Boy, news can be wrong sometimes. Yeah, there is a player meeting, but that’s all I can tell you about that,” Rahm said. “There’s also a PAC meeting. I don’t know if on the news they were talking about the PAC meeting or no. … I don’t know what to tell you. I don’t have Tiger’s phone number, so I can’t tell you if he’s coming or not,” Rahm said according to Yahoo Sports.

“Well, I’ve heard Tiger is the new commissioner, right?” Cantlay quipped. “That’s what everyone has been saying. I’m going to go to the meeting. I’m going to listen to what it’s all about, and I’ll probably have more for you after.” The mystery surrounding the meet has definitely taken the golf world by storm for the moment, as fans are waiting for the PGA Tour to make a move on the delicate situation.
