While Henley drove his tee shot into a bunker and had to lay upon the par-5 18th, Matsuyama, from the fairway, received the green light. From 277 yards away, the Ehime native Matsuyama took a mighty swing and launched a high fade into the sky, landing it on the green like a feather. Interestingly, it had to be rolled to just a couple of feet far away.

Surprisingly, the 29-year-old himself didn’t even see the shot, but boy, he could surely hear its pleasant sound. Later, he turned and looked toward his caddie shortly after he hit when he lost it in the setting sun.
