Patrick Mahomes defends his wife, Brittany Mahomes, from the unnecessary social media hate she receives on a regular basis. It’s the norm for most wags throughout the NFL, but Brittany does draw the short end of the straw more often than not.

From commenting on her appearance to nitpicking every small detail and painting a negative picture, the 28-year-old has had to endure a lot. For instance, a recent example would suffice for the argument.

Last month, during the solar eclipse, the Mahomes family prepared a small viewing party on their rooftop. A video surfaced showing that their eldest daughter, Sterling, almost ran into the open without any protection until Patrick shielded her.

While he received a lot of praise for being a caring father, people on the internet criticized Brittany for not being aware of her children. Before that, social media had a field day when Brittany appeared on the covers of Sports Illustrated wearing a red swimsuit.

Despite the ongoing internet hatred for her, Mahomes loves his wife and life partner. In a recent interview on Logan Paul’s ‘Impaulsive’ podcast, the three-time Super Bowl winner revealed that he is able to win all those rings because she takes care of the home and the kids.

People don’t even realize how much she does, taking care of the day-to-day stuff and making it so where I can focus on football, focus on my craft, and everything like that.

The six-time Pro Bowler went on to praise her even more, adding that she is his ‘best friend.’ They are high school sweethearts and started dating during his sophomore year. Mahomes then joined Texas Tech, and Brittany went to study and play soccer at the University of Texas.

Despite the separation, they kept in touch throughout college. They got engaged in September 2020, per the New York Post, and Brittany announced that she was pregnant a month later.

Even with so much negativity surrounding them, the pair chose to stick together and watch their backs. And it’s not like Brittany only keeps herself busy with housework. She is also an entrepreneur, investing in the Women’s Soccer League team KC Current and also helping to create the ‘15 and the Mahomies‘ foundation to help children receive a proper education.
