Gregor Gillespie takes home $100k on his octagon return at UFC Vegas 26

The UFC Vegas 26 was a phenomenal event with some great fights on the card. The main card saw the comeback of lightweight fighter Gregor Gillespie facing Carlos Diego Ferreira at the second fight of the main card. This lightweight bout was hands down the best fight of the night.
Gillespie made a return to the octagon after 2 whole years, losing to Kevin Lee in his last bout by knockout at UFC 244. The 34 year old fighter made a comeback showcasing why he is one of the best fighters right now in the division. Gregor and Ferreira displayed wonderful fighting skills. “The Gift” though managed to win the bout by outclassing his opponent.
The main event of the fight saw Marina Rodriguez turning out be victorious, The UFC Vegas 26 was live on ESPN/ESPN+ held at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. Both the main card and preliminary card fights won bonuses in this event.

Ferreira who fought against Gregor in the fight did not get his share of the purse because the fighter missed weight by 4.5 pounds. This saw ‘The Gift’ taking home the entire purse of $100k himself. One lucky man I must say. That is all for the bonuses of the night.
