Simone Biles wishes her mother
8th May was celebrated as Mothers Day throughout the world, as several athletes took to social media to show their gratitude towards their parents. Simone Biles, legendary gymnast also took to Instagram to wish her mother a happy Mothers day.
Biles is considered to be one of the greatest gymnasts in history, and is the most decorated gymnast in the world. She has 4 Olympics gold medals and a total of 7 Olympic medals. Biles’ path to greatness however, has not been an easy one, and she as well as her parents have gone through struggles to get her where she is today.
Biles’ mother, Nellie Ceytano Biles, and her father, Ronald Biles, aren’t her biological parents but they are her parents nonetheless. Ronald is Simone’s maternal grandfather and Nellie became his wife when the duo got married back in 1977.

In a sweet Instagram story, Biles wished her mother on the special occasion, with the caption “Happy Mothers Day, Mom?” Biles was seen wearing a bright red top white a pair of black pant and a simple grey sweater. She is seen hugging her mother, who is wearing a blue hoodie. Both the mother daughter pair have big smiles on their faces, as they enjoy the occasion.
“My parents saved me,” Simone said during DWTS. “They’ve set huge examples of how to treat other people, and they’ve been there to support me since day one. There’s nothing I could say to them to thank them enough.”
