Epic Games has finally released the new Fortnite Morty Skin in the game, more than a month later Rick was added to the game. The Fortnite Mecha Morty is now finally available for purchase in the item shop. It was released today after lots of speculation and is currently available in the store right now. The article details one of the special skins released by Fortnite in season 7, the Morty Skin 40 days after the release of Rick.

“Unite Rick with Morty.”
Fortnite x Ricky and Morty had commenced with a Rick skin that had instantly become a fan-favorite among the gaming community. More than a couple of months later, it’s Morty’s turn to finally become a Fortnite character. Morty has arrived by means of the Mecha Morty outfit which is currently available in the in-game Item Shop alongside more Rick and Morty-inspired cosmetics, including Morty’s Backpack Back Bling and the Space Snack Pickaxe.
The skin comes alongside Morty’s Backpack Back Bling that can only carry a Meeseeks Box that is accompanied by tame a Space Snake by taking up the Space Snake Pickaxe, and a Get Schwifty Emote. As said by Epic, with the Look at Me! Wrap, a new Mr. Meeseeks will show up on it every time you get an elimination, then stop existing with each new match.
“He’s built for battle. He’s intimidating by association. He’s got your back. Don’t leave home without your Morty.” The cartoony appearance of the Mecha Morty skin is what precisely ties it with the Rick Sanchez one from the battle pass, but the unique cel-shading look might play out as a possible disadvantage in Fortnite’s battle royale matches.
Players can unlock the Rick Sanchez skin and accompanying cosmetics via the Fortnite Season 7 Battle Pass. Unlike the Rick Sanchez skin, players won’t be able to unlock Mecha Morty for free in Fortnite. Instead, they will have to throw their V-Bucks back at Epic Games.
