Personal Vehicles in GTA 5 are covered by insurance and can be easily retrieved when destroyed. Personal Vehicles, however, can also be impounded if busted by the cops. An impounded vehicle can also be retrieved in GTA 5. There are in fact 2 different ways to do this. This article lists the steps to retrieve an impounded vehicle in GTA 5.

Method 1:

Step 1: Go to the location shown below.

Step 2: Go outside the gate.

Step 3: Click the button that appears on the screen to pay the impound fee. This is usually $250.

Step 4: The vehicle is now released from the impound.

Method 2:

Step 1: Open the in-game smartphone.

Step 2: Navigate to the contacts app.

Step 3: Select the Assistant’s contact.

Step 4: Select the ‘retrieve vehicle from impound’ option. This option costs $5000.

Step 5: The vehicle is now returned from the impound.
