Ronda Rousey is the current SmackDown Women’s Champion in her second-reign. She dismantled Liv Morgan at Extreme Rules last month to bag the gold. Ever since then, we’re witnessing a more vicious side of Rousey, something which fans came calling for in the past. As pretty evident by the looks, the Baddest Woman on the Planet have added a muscle to her, in the form of Shayna Baszler.
The Rowdy One is currently enjoying every bit of her new character. The wrestling pundits asked for a change in her mannerisms long ago, and four later, it is finally her time to control her narrative. Fans did not appreciate Ronda Rousey during her last run with WWE as they believed she wasn’t being her true self on the WWE TV.
Back in 2019, Ronda was still comparatively new to the pro wrestling business. However, now, she has settled in for almost half a decade. This experience has allowed her to understand fan psychology better. Speaking on the same on her YouTube channel, Ronda said,
“I think this run is easier because I kind of know how things work around here and I’ve kind of paid up more of my dues. I have put enough time here that they’ll at least hear me out and explain to me why I’m wrong if I am, you know, and that way I learned something. I think I feel like I have more of a voice this time and confidence to use it.” (H/T – Ringside News).
