For the fourth running week, Australia has recorded daily COVID cases in single-digit, paving the path for fans to enjoy the high voltage Test series between India and Australia. The tour is scheduled to kick off from November 27. The ODIs will be taking place first, followed by the T20Is with the tour will conclude with the Test series. While the limited over series will be behind closed, Cricket Australia has confirmed crowds for the most-awaited Test series.

Following the pandemic, CA has endured a A$46 million deficit last month. And has projected A$120 million drop in projected revenue for the 2020/21 period. Although with gates opening for fans, the board will get some financial relief, it will nothing more than a bucket from the sea.
Crowd to enjoy Pink ball Test in Adelaide

CA confirms 50% crowd for the Test series opener in Adelaide as 27,000 tickets available for each day of the opening day-night Test. On the other hand, 75% crowd will witness the fourth Test at Gabba every day. Earlier, Australia’s sports minister has confirmed 25% crowd at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. This means 25,000 will witness the historic Boxing Day Test, the second game of the series, every day.
CA interim Chief Executive Nick Hockley assures that the government protocols are being followed strictly as the safety of the players remains of paramount importance.
“We’re going to give all priority to safety but we’ll continue to work with the authorities to see if we can’t increase those capacities a bit as we move forward,” Hockley told Australian radio station SEN on Tuesday.
The Indian contingent will undertake a 14-day quarantine upon arrival in Australia and will remain in a biosecure “bubble” during the tour.
