Retro kit rumours

As Cricket Australia unveiled a new Indigenous shirt their players will be flaunting in the T20 series during the tour, rumours suggest that team India might shed their traditional light blue kit for the limited-over series. According to an Outlook report, Indian team is slated to don “retro kits” inspired from the seventies kit during the ODI and T20 series Down Under.

The kit is rumoured to be of a navy blue shade, similar to the one the Indian team donned during the 1992 World Cup. The series is team India’s first since BCCI signed the new kit sponsorship deal with MPL to replace Nike. So we will witness the new sponsor’s logo on the retro kit if the rumours prove to be true.
Despite all the ruckus going around on social media, we are yet to recieve an official confirmation about the same.
