Samir Handanovic (7.0/10): INTER MILAN goalkeeper made 2-3 saves for his team. Looked positive throughout the match. Did not have to distribute the long balls as his team was building from the back with small passes. A good game overall.

FS Video

Milan Skriniar (7.1/10): The centre back was the best defender in Inter’s backline. Cleared many chances that could have been dangerous for his team. Blocked some shots. Saw a lot of the ball. Not that great going into physical tussles.

Alessandro Bastoni (7.0/10): Did many tackles to win the ball. Had a fair share of the ball in the time he was on the pitch. Linked up well with his midfielders. Intercepted some opponent threats. Subbed off at the 80th minute.

Denzel Dumfries (7.4/10): The wingback was one of the best players on the pitch. Did his defensive duties well and went on many overlaps. Kept the right wing active for Inter. Scored the first goal for his team making a great run from back.

Nico Barella (7.0/10): Won every duel at the midfield zone. Was fouled by the opponent times to stop his runs. Was overloading the wings at times. Passing accuracy on the higher side. An overall good show from the Italian.

Arturo Vidal (6.4/10): A quiet game for the Chilean. Did not win many of the second balls. Was dribbled past easily at times. Had some attempts which were not upto the mark. Not much impact in the game.

Hakan Calhangolu (6.3/10):  Dominated the midfield with possession. Did the offensive work more. Had a key pass in the game.  Distributed the ball well for his wingbacks and forwards. Lost possession at bad areas though.

Ivan Perisic (7.2/10):  Deployed as a wingback, did his offensive work very well but lacked the defensive side of the game. Should have dealt better with Nico in the run of play that lead to Fiorentina’s goal. Created a great chance for his team where he got the assist for Dumfries’ goal.

Lautaro Martinez (6.6/10): Very bright in the opening stages of the game. Dropped deep to link up with his teammates and created some chances from there. Was fouled many times and almost won a penalty for his team. Subbed off in the second half.

Edin Dzeko (6.1/10): Not much of the treat being the target man. Hardly did anything to be considered a goal threat. Just had 1 shot in the entire 74 minutes he played before being subbed off. Looked slow at times. Did not do well with the ball at his feet either.

Danilo D’Ambrosio (6.6/10): Not aggressive with his defending. Lacked the proper anticipation. Accurated with his passing as he released Dumfries a number of times down the right hand channel. Intercepted some crucial balls at the backline.

Pietro Terracciano (7.3/10): FIORENTINA a great show from the goalie. Made a handful of brilliant saves to deny Inter Milan. Was brave with his punches and dives to get the ball away from his goal. Distribution from the back was average.

Igor Julio (6.8/10):  Was intending to move the ball forward whenever possible. Intercepted the ball very well once when Dzeko was closing down. Not so strong in aerial challenges. Committed some fouls.

Nikola Milenkovic (6.0/10):  A below average display from the defender. Just cleared some threats from his box and won few aerial duels. Got yellow carded for a challenge. Subbed off at the 89th minute.

Lorenzo Venuti (6.9/10): The right back was easily beaten at ground duels at times. Conceeded possession at bad areas. Made some important tackles. Positioning could have been better.

Cristiano Biraghi (7.2/10): The leftback defended really well. Blocked a lot of shots and cleared some threats. Had some attempts for himself as well at the other side of the pitch. Could have done better to deal with Dumfries down the wing.

Alfred Duncan (7.5/10): A decent show from the midfielder.  Got some great crosses into the box. Provided some excellent defence-splitting balls. Confident on the ball. Could have marked Dumfries better in the action of play that lead to Inter’s first goal.

Gaetano Castrovilli (7.2/10): Was the man behind all the attacks pulling the strings from the midfield. Did not get much of the ball in the first half but did very well with whatever he got. Had 2 key passes to his name in the first half. Did some tackles and blocked shots too.
