IPL 2020: Aakash Chopra selects the MVPs for all eight IPL franchises

The 13th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL) is set to kick-off from September 19 in the United Arab Emirates. Ahead of the start of the tournament, Aakash Chopra has been releasing lots of analysis videos on his YouTube channel.
The former Indian opener recently released a video in which he picked his Most Valuable Players (MVPs) from each of the eight IPL teams.
Aakash Chopra’s MVPs
He started off with the defending champions Mumbai Indians. Aakash had quite a few options, including Pollard, Rohit and Bumrah. However, he selected all-rounder Hardik Pandya, who he thinks will make an amazing comeback after his injury. From RCB, Aakash selected the Indian skipper Virat Kohli. Chopra opined that Kohli would score over 600 runs this IPL.
For CSK, Aakash picked Ravindra Jadeja. The slow wickets in the UAE will definitely assist the left arm spinner. He is also expected to play some good knocks down the order. From SRH, Chopra picked Rashid Khan. He picked Rashid ahead of Bairstow, Warner and Nabi.
For KKR, Aakash’s pick was Andre Russell. It is to be noted that the Caribbean was selected as the MVP in IPL 2019 as well. Chopra picked Shreyas Iyer from Delhi Capitals, who he thinks will lead them to glory this time.
Chopra picked KL Rahul from Kings XI Punjab, who he thinks could be the best batsman this season. For Rajasthan Royals, Chopra selected Jos Buttler. The English wicket-keeper has been in a terrific form for his national side off late.
