IPL 2020: Chennai Super Kings (CSK) vs Mumbai Indians (MI) Preview, Probable XI, Head-to-Head and Fantasy 11

Last year’s finalists Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians will once again lock horns at the 13th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL). Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Sharjah will host this game on October 23 (Friday) from 7:30 PM (IST) onwards. 

These two teams also met at the inaugural game of the season at Abu Dhabi. CSK emerged as the winners in that encounter, but the things have completely changed for both the franchises since then. 

Chennai Super Kings (CSK)

With just three wins in ten matches, the Chennai-based franchise occupies the last spot at the Points Table. Their chances of qualifying for the playoffs look quite bleak as their Net Run Rate is also below-par. Moreover, another player left their camp as Dwayne Bravo has been ruled out from the tournament due to a groin injury. 

There are several issues in front of the three-time IPL champions in this tournament. CSK needs to win all of their remaining clashes to have any possibilities of entering the final four.

Mumbai Indians (MI)

This season has been the exact opposite for the defending champions Mumbai Indians. With six victories in clashes, the MI Paltan comfortably sits at the third spot in the Points Table. If MI wins this game, they will climb to the top spot in the charts.

Although Mumbai lost their last game against Kings XI Punjab, they will come back stronger in the clash against CSK. Ishan Kishan suffered from an injury during that match and, as a result, Saurabh Tiwary is expected to make a comeback.
