Ambati Rayudu was the one who struck to the chase until the 18th over after being dismissed by Udana. Skipper MS Dhoni looked in a different gear but was out caught in the deep.

Later on CSK batsmen kept falling and ended with 132/8 thus losing by a margin of 37 runs. All-rounder Chris Morris added more balance to the RCB lineup and picked up 3/19 while Sundar picked 2/16 in three overs.

Kohli and Padikkal made a 53 run stand for the second wicket after Padikkal got out to Shardul Thakur. Thakur brought CSK back into the game after dismissing Mr. 360 Ab De Villiers for a two-ball duck. However, Kohli did not stop and continued to attack the CSK bowling. Kohli played shots everywhere in the ground, he even played an ABD’s trademark sweep shot and had a laugh afterward.
