The Kings XI Punjab franchise roped in the experienced Indian Legend Anil Kumble to their side as the new head coach for the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League. After their fifth loss, fans are not happy with Anil Kumble and recalls his feud with Virat Kohli.

KXIP fans were excited as they wished for a successful season. But players aren’t able to quite stand to the expectations as the side didn’t have the start they wanted and now sinking at the bottom of the table.

Kings XI were one of the strongest sides on paper at the time of IPL auctions in 2019 when they roped in the likes of Chris Jordon, Sheldon Cottrell, James Neesham and K. Gowtham. But the performance of their players hasn’t up to the mark.

Anil Kumble slammed by fans after successive losses in Dream11 IPL 2020

Punjab’s poor performances in the Dream11 IPL 2020 have also raised questions on their head coach Anil Kumble for his decisions regarding team selection and management.

Anil Kumble made the headlines in 2016-17 when he was working as the head coach for Indian Men’s senior cricket team. There was huge speculation and controversy that Anil Kumble and captain Virat Kohli did not see eye-to-eye on many instances.

Kumble had claimed that Virat Kohli was not too pleased with his coaching style. Looking at how the Punjab side has fared in the Dream11 IPL 2020 under Kumble, fans revisited his feud with Virat Kohli as they slammed him for his team selection.
