IPL 2020 : “Hats off for turning up today,” Tendulkar lauds Mandeep and Nitish for turning up despite family tragedies

Mandeep Singh and Nitish Rana displayed their love and dedication for the game as they turn up for their franchises even after suffering family tragedies. Rana lost his father in law to cancer on Friday while Mandeep lost his father the very same day. Former Indian batsman lauded them for their courage and dediaction towrds the game.
Hats off for turning up today
Tendulkar tweeted experessing his condolensces to the Indian batsmen. He points out that it must be even more difficult for them not being able to bid goodbye to their loved ones.
“Loss of a loved one hurts, but what’s more heartbreaking is when one doesn’t get to say a final goodbye. Praying for @mandeeps12, @NitishRana_27 and their families to heal from this tragedy. Hats off for turning up today. Well played,” the tweet read.
KKR batter Rana hit a scintillating 81 in the game against Dc and dedicated the knock to his late father in law. He was seen flaunting a KKR jersey with his late father in law’s name “Surinder” on it after reaching the fifty run mark.

On the other hand, Mandeep mananged 17 opening against SRH the other night. KXIP side was seen waering black armband to honour Mandeep’s late father.
Moreover, batting maestro Tendulkar went through something similar during the 1999 World Cup. His father passed away during the tournament and he flew back after completing the last rights. Tendulkar also went on to hit a century agsinst Kenya upon returning to England.
