IPL 2020: Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) vs Chennai Super Kings (CSK) Preview, Probable XI, Head-to-Head and Fantasy 11

The Dubai International Cricket Stadium of Dubai will host the second game of the second double-header of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020. Kings XI Punjab will take on three-time IPL champions Chennai Super Kings on October 4 from 7:30 PM (IST) onwards. As of now, the two teams occupy the last and the second-last spots of the Points Table respectively.

Kings XI Punjab (KXIP)

KL Rahul-led Kings XI Punjab looked like one of the most promising sides of this year’s IPL. With a perfect balance of youngsters and experienced players, KXIP looked like the favourites to make it to the final four. But currently, they have lost three out of their four matches in the tournament.

KXIP’s top-order batsmen KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal have consistently performed for them, but their bowling unit looks weak. As a result, Rahul and co. may make a few changes in their side and bring back Chris Jordan and Murugan Ashwin in place of Jimmy Neesham and Krishnappa Gowtham.

Chennai Super Kings (CSK)

The performance of the ‘Men in Yellow’ has been miserable in this tournament so far. With just a single victory in four games, MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings are on the last position in the Points Table. 

They came a bit closer in their last game against Sunrisers Hyderabad, before falling short by just seven runs. But the good news was that Dhoni found his lost touch and would love to continue with it in this game too. They are most likely to play with the same playing XI in their clash against KXIP.
