IPL 2020: Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) vs Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) Preview, Probable XI, Head-to-Head and Fantasy 11

KL Rahul’s Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) will take on Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in match 24 of the 13th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL). KXIP-KKR clash will be the first game of the double-header hosted on October 10. The game will take place at Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium, Abu Dhabi from 3:30 PM (IST) onwards.

Kings XI Punjab has had a forgettable season so far in this tournament as they occupy the last spot in the Points Table. They have managed to register just a solitary victory in six games thus far. KXIP’s lost their previous encounter against Sunrisers Hyderabad comprehensively by 69 runs.

Even after playing six matches, KL Rahul and co. failed to play a settled XI in IPL 2020. For instance, they have tried players like the skipper himself, Nicholas Pooran and Simran Singh for the wicket-keeper’s spot. But the inclusion of Chris Gayle will add a bit depth to their side, and as a result, they will continue making changes.

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR)

On the other hand, Dinesh Karthik-led Kolkata Knight Riders comfortably sit at the fourth spot in the Points Table. With three wins in five clashes, KKR managed to secure six points. But Kolata also has plenty of issues in front of them before they lock horns against the Punjab-based franchise.

One of the biggest concerns for them to address is the batting order as most of them play with an unsettled batting position. Eoin Morgan needs to bat higher, and Rahul Tripathi’s ‘Man of the Match’ performance will give them a boost in this game.
