IPL 2020 Playoffs: Twitter reacts as Mumbai Indians thrash Delhi Capitals to qualify for the IPL final

Mumbai Indians (MI) notched up a clinical win over Delhi Capitals (DC) to qualify for yet another Indian Premier League final. The toss was one of the very few things that went right for the Capitals on a bad night for them.

Put in to bat, MI lost skipper Rohit Sharma early. However, Quinton de Kock and Suryakumar Yadav ensured that the run-rate stayed high. After the former’s dismissal, it was Ishan Kishan who shone with the bat. Both Yadav and Kishan got half-centuries. Hardik Pandya helped MI’s cause with some explosive hitting towards the end to take MI’s score to exactly 200.

In the chase, DC got off to the worst start possible as they lost Prithvi Shaw, Ajinkya Rahane and Shikhar Dhawan for ducks. Trent Boult and Jasprit Bumrah were unplayable for DC. It was Marcus Stoinis who was the only one to offer some resistance. Axar Patel did so to an extent as well. However, all DC could manage was 143 runs as they lost by a whopping 57 runs.
