RCB vs RR preview

After a close victory in the last game, Virat Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore is set to take on 2008 Indian Premier League (IPL) champions Rajasthan Royals. The 13th edition of this tournament will also witness its first double-header as this game will begin from 3:30 PM (IST) onwards. The Sheikh Zayed Stadium of Abu Dhabi will host this game on October 3 (Saturday).

RCB vs SRH
Royal Challengers Bangalore

This season has so far turned out to be a roller-coaster for Virat Kohli and co. After a victory and defeat in their first two respective games, RCB won their last match against Mumbai Indians in the Super Over. Skipper Virat Kohli has failed to put up any significant individual score on the board in this edition.

Their death bowling also looked a bit concerning before they added Isuru Udana and Adam Zampa to the lineup in the last match. Nonetheless, RCB is most likely to take the field with the same playing XI in this clash.

Rajasthan Royals (RR)

Rajasthan Royals

Steve Smith’s Rajasthan Royals have looked like one of the consistent teams in this year’s IPL. With two wins out of three games, the Royals are placed at the fifth spot in the Points Table. Although their batting unit looks heavily dependent on Smith, Buttler and Samson as middle-order batsmen: Robin Uthappa and Riyan Parag have failed to deliver so far.

So, youngster Yashasvi Jaiswal might get a chance in this game who got dropped after the first match. This decision may result in an exit for Uthappa or Parag in this match.
