Raina hopeful of CSK lifting IPL 2020 trophy
Raina also hoped for CSK bouncing back and winning the IPL 2020 tournament. Although Raina is currently not a part of the CSK team in UAE, he is cheering his team from India. The left-hander after congratulating the skipper expressed that CSK will surely go on to winning the tournament.
CSK has faced quite a few ups and downs ever since the start of the tournament. Suresh Raina and Harbhajan Singh could not join the side citing personal reasons. Batsman Ruturaj Gaikwad and pacer Deepak Chahar tested positive for coronavirus before the start of the tournament. Later they faced an injury scare after Ambati Rayudu and DJ bravo were sidelined for two games.
The Super Kings started the tournament on a good note, defeating defending champions Mumbai Indians in IPL 2020 opener. However, they lost their next two games versus the Rajasthan Royals and the Delhi Capitals.
Three times Champions CSK would be looking to come back to winnings ways with a win against Sunrisers Hyderabad in tonight’s game in IPL 2020.
