IPL 2020: Twitter reacts to Rajasthan Royals’ stunning run-chase against Mumbai Indians

Rajasthan Royals (RR) defeated Mumbai Indians (MI) in a high-scoring encounter to boost their dwindling hopes of making it to the playoffs.

MI who were without their captain Rohit Sharma again, won the toss and chose to bat first. Despite losing Quinton de Kock in the first over to Jofra Archer, Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav made amends. However, Shreyas Gopal orchestrated a middle overs collapse for MI. Hardik Pandya who walked in at No. 7, came out all guns blazing and struck 60 off 21 to take MI’s score to 195.

In the chase, RR lost Robin Uthappa and Steve Smith early on, but Ben Stokes and Sanju Samson were involved in a blistering partnership that saw the former hit a century and the latter hit a half-century that took the Royals home with ease.
