Former Australian cricketer turned commentator Dean Jones has passed away due to a cardiac arrest. Jones was a part of Star Sports commentary team and was on air yesterday as well during the match between Mumbai (MI) and Kolkata (KKR).  

The Australian great was in a bio-secure bubble and was staying at a hotel in Mumbai.

The 59-year-old Aussie had played 52 Test matches and scored 3631 runs averaging 46.55. He played 164 ODIs for Australia and scored 6008 runs averaging 44.61.
