IPL 2020: Twitterati brutally trolls Kedar Jadhav after yet another slow knock in the tournament

Kedar Jadav has been continuously under the radar of cricket experts and fans on social media. He has miserably failed to put up a decent batting performance in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 while playing for Chennai Super Kings. After featuring in eight matches for the three-time IPL champions thus far, Jadhav has mere 62 runs to his name at an average of 20.66.

Coming to the strike rate of the 35-year old, it’s even less than 100 (93.93). Jadhav bats at the lower middle order for CSK where the batsmen need to provide a blistering end to the innings as finishers. Such numbers clearly raise questions on the selection of Kedar Jadhav in the playing XI, provided Chennai is in deep trouble to qualify for the playoffs.  

Not just his performance, but the fans have also questioned the intent with which he bats in the middle. In the last match against Rajasthan Royals, something similar happened where Kedar Jadhav scored four runs after facing seven deliveries while batting first. CSK needed some fireworks from him in the end but, that did not happen. Following his performance, the Chennai-based franchise could only post a below-par total of 125-5 on the board.
