IPL 2020: Virat Kohli posts picture taking him ‘back to school days’; Yuzvendra Chahal and Rashid Khan respond hilariously

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have had one of their best Indian Premier League campaigns in recent times so far. They are currently at the 2nd spot on the points table and look like they have all but sealed a playoff spot. They faced Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) yesterday in Abu Dhabi. RCB came away with a clinical win as they restricted KKR to a paltry score of 84 before chasing it down without breaking a sweat.

Mohammed Siraj was the hero as he returned figures of 3-8 that also saw him make history by becoming the first bowler to bowl two maiden overs in a single IPL match. The pacer was named Man of the Match for his efforts. RCB face Chennai Super Kings next on Sunday and the mood in the RCB camp is more upbeat than ever as they bid to clinch their first IPL title.

Following the comprehensive win against KKR, RCB begun preparations for their next match on Sunday. Skipper Virat Kohli took to Instagram to post a picture from a training session of himself with fellow RCB players Devdutt Padikkal, AB de Villiers and last match’s hero Mohammed Siraj. He captioned the picture aptly saying, “This pic takes me back to school days. 4 guys from the same class, and AB is the kid who’s finished homework and is prepared and the other 3 know they are in trouble”.

The picture has gone viral with a plethora of fans appreciating the relatable caption for the image. The picture has also garnered a lot of replies from cricketers. RCB spinner Yuzvendra Chahal was one such player who replied. He responded hilariously saying that he is the one that bunks classes when homework is checked. The comment read, “Aur maine class bunk kar li coz aaj homework check Hona tha“.

Sunrisers Hyderabad cricketer Rashid Khan replied to this comment telling Chahal to bring his parents the next day. Rashid also posted a separate comment saying, “And Siraj is even don’t know that teacher has given us homework (sic).”
