Royal Challengers Bangalore is now one of the six teams which have reached UAE. The franchise shared the pictures of its players, where Virat Kohli was nowhere to be seen evidently. Some fans speculated that he would be travelling on his own. Kohli hadn’t landed in Bengaluru while the likes of Yuzvendra Chahal, Umesh Yadav, Navdeep Saini had reached the city last week. They remained in quarantine for a few days and flew to the UAE in the afternoon.

Virat Kohli surprised his fans by sharing a pic from Dubai on Twitter. However, it isn’t known whether Kohli landed in Dubai alone or with other members of the team.

Only Delhi Capitals and Sunrisers Hyderabad now remain to land in the Emirates.

All the players and officials will remain in quarantine for six days. They will undergo rounds of testing during this period and will be allowed to hit the field after almost a week.

The 13th edition of the Indian Premier League would last for 52 days, starting off from September 19. The inaugural match would feature the final teams of last year’s IPL, wherein Mumbai Indians clashes with Chennai Super Kings. This is the 1st time in the tournament’s history that the final would be played on a weekday, i.e. Tuesday. The national players are set to stay away from their homes for a long time as they will directly leave for Australia, where India play a full-fledged series in 2020/21. Even the domestic players would be representing their state teams as soon as they land back in India.
