Burgeoning social media icon IShowSpeed recently went live on YouTube. He clicked on a clip where WWE great The Undertaker and his Six Feet Under podcast co-host Matt Lyda were discussing the streamer’s impromptu Royal Rumble debut. Lyda mentioned how Speed’s exploits clocked over a staggering 300 million views across various social media platforms.

As both of them were raving about Speed’s unprecedented appeal, the internet sensation paused for a bit and talked about The Undertaker’s feud with Rey Mysterio. They locked horns at the 2008 Royal Rumble PLE, where Taker put Mysterio away with a last ride. IShowSpeed quipped that he’d never forget that moment, as it made him cry being a kid.

Speed then hilariously issued a feeble warning to The Deadman the next time he sees the WWE HOF’er. The 20-year-old claimed that it’s not going to be cool. However, he gave the four-time World Champion his fair share of respect, calling Taker a legend. It seems as if Speed has made a full recovery from the whirlwind of an experience he had with WWE last month.

The streamer was invited to the event by WWE CCO Triple H, who gave Speed exclusive access to live-stream the PLE. Speed received a FaceTime from The Game while in Uruguay. It was the day of Saturday Night’s Main Event. During that conversation with Paul Levesque, Speed was most excited about potentially meeting John Cena.

How did IShowSpeed’s Royal Rumble outing go?

The streamer had to sub in for Akira Tozawa in the men’s Royal Rumble match as the Japanese wrestler got jumped by Carmelo Hayes from behind. The cameras panned backstage where Triple H looked over to Speed, who was in the gorilla position alongside Stephanie McMahon.

The Cerebral Assassin told IShowSpeed to enter the match. After initial reluctance, Speed went through the curtain to receive a raucous ovation from the Indianapolis crowd. In the ring, a catastrophe was awaiting him. After doing a backflip, the social media star was cut in half by Bron Breakker, who wrecked Speed with a spear.

The reigning IC Champ dumped Speed over the top rope only for the latter to be caught by Otis. The No. 1 Guy made Speed go through an overhead belly-to-back suplex on the commentary table. By that moment, the streamer was done for. He got checked on by referee Chad Patton, who relayed the word backstage that Speed was fine.

It relieved Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, among other higher-ups and producers. Speed was helped out by various officials. The streamer had to be put on a golf cart as he couldn’t walk on his own. IShowSpeed, all banged-up, claimed on camera that he would never come back to a WWE show.

Is IShowSpeed ready to go again at Royal Rumble 2026?

A couple of weeks after his torrid Royal Rumble appearance, IShowSpeed provided a health update. The internet sensation experienced the worst headache of his life in its aftermath and even thought he would die from the toll his body had taken.

Even though he admitted on camera that he doesn’t want to be a part of WWE shows again, he already has his sights set on Royal Rumble 2026. The said PLE will be held in Saudi Arabia, which further brightens the prospect of Speed being called up by WWE again.

In a post-match interview with Cathy Kelley at last month’s Royal Rumble, Speed warned the likes of Roman Reigns, Mark Henry, and more. He said it’s no joke out there in that ring with some of the most gifted athletes in the world. Also, he was asked to choose which bump hurt him more. Was it an RKO from Randy Orton at WrestleMania XL or the Bron Breakker spear? Speed claimed both did equal damage.
