Jake Paul went from a YouTuber and internet influencer to a self-proclaimed professional boxer. He faced semi-professional fighters in the ring and coming up this year are two fights with Mike Perry and Mike Tyson respectively. This transition came with its own set of problems. One of the top criticisms that Paul has repeatedly faced is the steroid accusations before and after each fight. Here is ‘The Problem Child’ addressing this exact issue in a recent episode on his podcast:
Jake Paul recently sat down with Dr. Paul Saladino on the BS w/ Jake Paul podcast. During their conversation, Paul revealed his plan to shut everybody who ever doubted that he did steroids for good. Paul revealed that he plans to do a cycle of steroids after he retires, just to show what he would look like on them.
So after boxing, I'm gonna do a cycle of steroids to show people what Jake Paul on steroids actually looks like because I want to shut people the f*** up.Jake Paul on BS w/ Jake Paul
Jake Paul made a post earlier this year displaying his physique, and people were quick to accuse ‘The Problem Child’ of consuming banned substances. This was not the first time it has happened. Many speculated Paul was on PEDs before he fought former UFC veteran Tyron Woodley.
Meanwhile, UFC CEO, Dana White joined the queue when he accused ‘The Problem Child’ of using steroids. However, Paul has denied it but it was never enough. Upcoming opponent Mike Perry recently accused Jake Paul of using steroids before their fight too.
Mike Perry accuses Jake Paul of using steroids
Jake Paul will fight Mike Perry this July at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida. The fight was originally supposed to be against boxing legend Mike Tyson. However, the BKFC star stepped in as Tyson walked out due to health concerns and rescheduled for November.
Mike Perry recently sat down for an episode on the OverDogs podcast. During their discussion, they talked about how much steroids Jake Paul must be on right now. There are about three weeks left for their eight-round cruiserweight bout, and Perry believes Paul has to be on steroids.
Well, he’s gotta be hot. If he went from, you know, 210, if he really did go to 230, he had to use something. I don’t know how the testing is going to be. They may test me and not test him. That’s fine.Mike Perry on OverDogs
However, Perry is not much worried about it. He highlighted that he has fought and trained with people who are on steroids. He is ready for tests any day of the week. Mike Perry was a former UFC fighter who transitioned to bare-knuckle boxing and has remained undefeated in the BKFC since 2022. As such, many are hoping that Perry derails the Jake Paul train once and for all.
