AJ Brown and Jalen Hurts have to talk it over if Philadelphia Eagles are to play better in order to win the Super Bowl.

The Philadelphia Eagles have the second-best winning streak in the league. But their latest win against the Carolina Panthers was not one that suggested the team was leagues above one of the worst franchises. In that scrappy win was a situation that led AJ Brown to criticize Jalen Hurts and the passing game.

The superstar wideout suggested that his quarterback’s passing was the one big problem for their offense. On many occasions Brown and his fellow star receivers were open, but all Hurts did was throw short passes to safer options.

Jalen Hurts threw for just 108 yards in the game against the Panthers, marking one of the lowest passing totals of his career. That low total meant his receivers could not break the top off and help to run up the score.

But the two-time All-Pro taking a direct shot at his teammate sprang up discussions about the Eagles locker room. Another superstar who has a locker room, Brandon Graham, was asked on Sports Radio 94WIP about the ongoing issue, to which he replied.

The person that’s complaining needs to be accountable, and I’m just being honest, and he knows this. I don’t know the whole story, but I know that one is trying and 11 could be better with how he responds to things. They were friends before this, but things have changed.

Brandon Graham said on Sports Radio 94WIP

Graham’s words suggest the relationship between the two biggest superstars on the Philadelphia Eagles is professional at best. He implied that there was a time when the two were friends, but now they have to work through these problems with that professionalism.

Jalen Hurts and AJ Brown need to be in sync if Eagles are to win Super Bowl

The Carolina Panthers are the third worst team in the league, but still have a decent enough defense. But even then, for a team that has the likes of AJ Brown, DeVonta Smith, Dallas Goedert and others should not have a problem in the passing game.

Over the past few weeks, the Philadelphia Eagles‘ offense has leaned heavily on their rushing attack. The game against the Panthers was a culmination of that, as the receivers could not do any damage. But if they are to win the Super Bowl, the passing attack has to return.

Brown might have voiced his opinion at the right time. They have four games remaining, with the next one against one of the best defenses in the league.

If anything, the coaching staff and offensive players should talk it out if they are to improve their all-round attack. Else, not only are they wasting millions on standout receivers but also risking Saquon Barkley by increasing his load.
