Despite finishing as year-end No.1 this season, Jannik Sinner has not been relaxed and continues to work hard every day. The Italian was recently spotted training in the Monte Carlo for the Paris Masters. However, while training, he was trying out different racket models, all in black and they appear to be Novak Djokovic’s racket prototype model.

Sinner began the year by beating Daniil Medvedev to win the Australian Open. He has since won six other titles, including the US Open in August. During the Asian swing, he reached the final of the China Open before losing to Carlos Alcaraz in three sets. He then claimed his third Masters 1000 title at the Shanghai Masters after beating Novak Djokovic in straight sets.

The 23-year-old competed at the Six Kings Slam in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He was the only player in the event who won all three matches. In the final, he came from behind to beat Alcaraz and claim the mouth-watering $6 million prize money. He is now preparing to claim his eight title of the season at the Paris Masters. However, he is in Monte Carlo training for the event.

In a viral video, he was spotted trying out different rackets. This season, Sinner has been using the Head TGT racket, which has taken his serve to another level. But, it appears that during the training he was testing Djokovic’s Head Speed Legend racket.

The racket was specifically designed and built for Djokovic and is not for sale. However, it could be that the Italian is trying out for a better racket, as the brand looks to produce its version of the racket.

Jannik Sinner chooses Grand Slam tournaments as the most important

Jannik Sinner won two Grand Slam titles this season and reached the quarterfinals of the other two majors. He has been World No.1 since June after overtaking Novak Djokovic during the French Open. However, he hasn’t represented his country in any international event this year.

He was out of the Paris Olympics after suffering tonsillitis. He also did not represent Italy in the Davis Cup group stage in September. During a recent interview, he revealed that the Grand Slam tournaments are his most prestigious tournament.

The Slams are and will always be the most prestigious tournaments for me. I had a difficult time: not playing the Olympics which were a fundamental objective for me. Now there is the Davis Cup. Future? It will be difficult to do better than this year, but let’s see what happens.

Sinner will compete at the Paris Masters which gets underway on October 28. Last year, the Italian reached the round of 16 of the tournament but withdrew due to injury. He will be hoping to win it this time around.
