IPL 2020: Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah fist-bumping after thriller is what the IPL is all about

Jasprit Bumrah and Virat Kohli

Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians played out a nail-biter for the ages yesterday. Put in to bat, Royal Challengers rode on openers Aaron Finch and Devdutt Padikkal’s half-centuries before explosive batting at the death from AB de Villiers and Shivam Dube led RCB past the 200 mark. Chasing a mammoth total, MI didn’t get going and lost wickets at regular intervals.
But a stunning assault from Ishan Kishan and Kieron Pollard at the end helped MI tie the game and take it to a Super Over. Kishan fell one run short of a maiden IPL century.
In the Super Over, Navdeep Saini delivered for RCB restricting MI to just 7 runs. Despite Jasprit Bumrah bowling accurate yorkers, RCB chased down the target of 8 runs courtesy boundaries from AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli.
