Giannis Antetokounmpo won the NBA championship in 2021 after overcoming the Phoenix Suns in Game 6. Antetokounmpo stood at the center of almost everything linked to the Bucks and their 2021 triumph. Despite this, Jeff Teague completely ignored Antetokounmpo when he was asked to pick his top 5 teammates recently.

In a viral video making rounds on the internet, Teague was asked to pick the top 5 teammates he played with in his basketball career. Teague named Al Horford, Jayson Tatum, Joe Johnson, Gorgui Dieng, and Tyus Jones (in that order), completely snubbing one of the NBA’s best players in Antetokounmpo which raised a lot of questions from the NBA community.

On the contrary, Teague, the seasoned point guard spent the 2020-21 season with the Boston Celtics before being moved to the Orlando Magic on March 25, 2021. Two days later, Teague was released by the Magic and joined with the Bucks. They then went on to win the second NBA championship in franchise history.

Jeff Teague played for the Milwaukee Bucks for 1 season but was not one of the important players on the roster for them. Also, the Bucks’ Giannis Antetokounmpo spearheaded the attack during the 2020-21 season where they won the NBA championship. Notably, Teague completely left out Antetokounmpo when he was asked to pick his top 5 teammates of all time, garnering hilarious reactions from the NBA community on social media.

On the contrary, one could argue why Teague chose to leave out Antetokounmpo from his list, with some fans claiming that the Bucks star man did not want to party after their title win which completely spoilt the mood of the Bucks’ players. On the other hand, Teague will be glad that he was part of the decorated NBA-winning team back in 2021.
