UFC flyweight contenders Jennifer Maia and Jessica Eye are all set to fight each other at a fight card yet to be announced, but we do have a date though the event would take place on July 10.

The information about this event got disclosed to MMA Fighting by several sources and now the deal between these two is almost finalized.

Maia is 18-7 on her professional record and is Number 4th ranked women’s flyweight contender, she lost her last fight against the champion Valentina Shevchenko in number and is now looking to get back on the win column.

She holds some notable wins over Joanne Calderwood and Roxanne Modafferi.

Jessica Eye is also coming off from a loss and is now looking to make a comeback

Eye is 15-9 on her professional record and she has lost her last two fight against Cynthia Calvillo and Joanne Calderwood, she has also lost her bout with the champion Shevchenko.

She holds victory over Leslie Smith, Katlyn Chookagian and Jessica Rose Clark.

Both these fighters are as talented as anyone on the roster, but their performance in their last few fights haven’t not outstanding, and fans are eagerly waiting for them to show the world what they are made of.

This can be interesting bout, because of the on-going downsizing happening inside the UFC these two will compete as their future depends upon it.
