Cody Rhodes finally finished his story at WrestleMania XL when he pinned Roman Reigns to win the Undisputed WWE Championship. The moment was followed by a plethora of emotions between the fans and WWE talent alike. Many members of the locker room were also seen celebrating with The American Nightmare in the ring after the match, including Jey Uso.

Rhodes’ former teammate recently talked about his feelings during that moment on the Gorilla Position podcast. Uso recalled getting emotional just like everyone else celebrating with him. The emotions further escalated when The American Nightmare’s family all joined them in the ring. The 38-year-old revealed that he could feel the love in the ring after he turned around and saw the champion’s family.

The former Tag Team Champion concluded by saying that he was extremely glad to be part of such a match. Additionally, he claimed that the WrestleMania XL Night 2 main event was one of the best in the show’s history.

Crying and excited with a bunch of guys. I was very glad that I was a part of his match; it was the best WrestleMania main event for sure.

The ECW legend believes that the current champion need not have a long run like his predecessor, Roman Reigns. According to Bubba, Rhodes’ story was about being an underdog. He fought through and overcame The Rock and The Tribal Chief at WrestleMania XL.

The Hall of Famer also added that he would not mind for The Final Boss to come back and dethrone The American Nightmare. He believes that if the Great One were to return to the WWE and stick around, he might as well do some business and become a credible challenger to the current WWE Champion.
