There’s no question that Joe Burrow has the fashion game figured out. The Cincinnati Bengals’ dashing quarterback once again electrified with an appearance at the Met Gala 2026, where he was pictured along with his former teammate at Louisiana, Justin Jefferson.
Joe Burrow, who’s making the fashion’s biggest night for the second time in a row, stepped out in an elegant customized two-piece suit from Bode. The 29-year-old hotshot completed his embroidered navy suit ensemble with jewelry from Cartier.
Ahead of taking the steps at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, he linked up with his former teammate and both posed for photos at the entrance of the Mark Hotel. Jefferson and Burrow were part of the formidable 2019 LSU Tigers team that went on to win the NCAA Championship and were etched forever in collegiate football books as one of the most dominant teams in history.

The pair got together beforehand and spent some time together, and even caught a few episodes of ‘Sex and the City.’ Burrow said in an interview with Emily Curl of Entertainment Tonight:
It was fun. I got my friend Justin (Jefferson) here, and we went to college together. So, it’s always a great time when I get to see him. It’s always a fun day to just sit around. We watched some ‘Sex and the City’ and just hung out a little bit.

From the looks of it, Burrow did have a pretty decent outing. He did have a quick jump from the limo when he arrived back at the hotel from the event. Maybe he was just happy to get back to his cozy suite. After all, he left after some time for the afterparty, joined by his rumored girlfriend Olivia Ponton, in a white vest and some casual black pants.

The Met Gala 2026, themed “Fashion is Art”, was about celebrating the ‘Costume Art’ exhibition at the museum. The event, chaired by Beyonce, Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams, and Anna Wintour, featured several celebrities from the sports and entertainment world. The presence of Jeff Bezos and his wife, Lauren Sanchez, as honorary chairs had invited public outrage and actual protests.
The Amazon founder has been accused of worker exploitation and using elite artistic circles to wash his tarnished public image. His lavish wedding with Sanchez last year and his flaunting of wealth with superyachts amid global crises haven’t gone down well with people.
Joe Burrow makes most of his offseason by attending other sports
The Cincinnati Bengals quarterback has been busy this offseason. On Saturday, Joe Burrow was in attendance at the Kentucky Derby down in Churchill Downs, Louisville, Kentucky, along with his parents, Robin and Jim Burrow, as well as Olivia Ponton. He had also attended the Kentucky Oaks on the previous evening.

The star wore a baby pink blazer jacket over an ash gray tee and a fedora hat to match. He later took it out as he watched Golden Tempo cruise to a win jockeyed by Jose Ortiz. It was indeed a historical evening in Kentucky with Charlie DeVaux becoming the first female trainer to win the Kentucky Derby and only the second woman ever to win any of the three American Triple Crown races.
Burrow was as invested as everyone who had eyes on the thrilling finish as Golden Tempo and Renegade battled it out in the final seconds.

He flew that day from Kentucky to Miami for the Miami Grand Prix on Sunday. The race, marked by an explosive start, some crashes, and a flip, finished with Italian youngster Kimi Antonelli cruising to yet another victory. Earlier, he was also present at Game 2 of the Los Angeles Lakers and Houston Rockets NBA playoff series. The Lakers had won the match and later advanced to the conference semifinals.
