Fan-favorite TNA star says he’s HONORED as WWE puts him in the same list as The Rock
An immensely popular TNA star has made his way onto the list of the best WWE Superstar entrances at present, which also features The Rock.

Who doesn’t like to be in the same shoes as The Rock, especially when one’s a pro wrestler? In his heyday, The Great One changed the industry like no one else. Which is why WWE continues to feature him in its content to date. This time around, the wrestler-turned-actor made his way into WWE’s recently published list of the top 10 superstar entrances they have today.
Seeing Rock up there is no surprise. However, WWE has also snuck in a TNA name. He’s no one but Joe Hendry, who’s honored to be on the same list as The Rock. Taking it to X, the Scotsman expressed his gratitude after being featured in the pedigree that The People’s Champ owns.
The known musician-cum-wrestler went viral earlier this year after he released a battle hymn of his own. The song titled ‘I Believe in Joe Hendry’ reached the masses within no time, as the people found it extremely catchy. Hendry could also boast of being ranked a spot above Roman Reigns, whose entrance is at #10 per WWE.
I’m Honored to be on this best entrances list with @TheRockJoe Hendry on X
Sitting at the pole position is another Anoa’i family member, Jey Uso. But all in all, Joe Hendry’s over the moon with even the slightest of comparisons with the real-life Dwayne Johnson. Hendry, despite being signed to TNA, has become a staple of NXT’s programming of late, adhering to the ongoing working relationship between WWE and TNA.
And safe to say, it’s only growing in stature. This weekend at NXT: No Mercy, Hendry will challenge Ethan Page for the NXT Championship. It’s quite amusing to fathom that a TNA-signed wrestler is about to up against a former AEW star in the main event of a WWE PLE.
The Rock likely to face Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41
Earlier this year, The Rock returned to WWE for an extended period of time. He ended up competing at WrestleMania, which was his first match in eight years. On Raw after WrestleMania XL, The Brahma Bull said that he’d be back soon and Cody Rhodes better watch his back.
All pointers are leading towards a singles showdown between them. As per a recent tease from WRKD Wrestling, that’s indeed the plan for next year’s WrestleMania in Las Vegas. Rock’s cousin, Roman Reigns, is currently engrossed in turmoil with some of his kith and kins.
The OTC was laid out by the Solo Sikoa-led Bloodline on SmackDown a couple of weeks ago. At one point, Reigns was expected to battle Rock at WrestleMania 41. However, those plans seem to have been stalled by at least an year.
